Mission Statement:
ASIENCE is a student theatre group at UMD that is committed to presenting Asian-American theatrical pieces. By putting on these specific plays, we hope to increase the visibility of Asian-American playwright works to the public, while also providing opportunities for students who are interested in furthering their experience in the field of performing arts. We offer opportunities for directors, designers, tech crew members, and actors to freely express their talents in a culturally-immersed artistic environment.
